1. Project Overview

This report documents the execution of injection works for multiple foul sewer manholes located within Clusters R1 and R2 at the Argentine Complex.

The manholes were experiencing severe water ingress at pipe penetrations and structural joints, with leakage severity ranging between 100% and 150%.

The intervention aimed to:

• Stop active water leakage
• Restore structural watertightness
• Improve operational safety
• Reinstate internal surfaces

3. Identified Issues

Site inspection confirmed:

• Severe water ingress at pipe connections
• Leakage through construction joints
• Hydrostatic pressure-induced seepage
• Risk of structural deterioration and unsafe access conditions

────────────────────────

4. Injection Methodology

The rectification works were carried out using controlled chemical injection procedures:

4.1 Surface Preparation

• Cleaning of leakage zones
• Removal of loose materials
• Identification of leakage paths

4.2 Drilling & Packer Installation

• Drilling toward leakage channels
• Installation of injection packers

4.3 Resin Injection

• Low-pressure injection to fill active leak channels
• Gradual pressure increase for crack penetration
• Monitoring until complete water stoppage

4.4 Finishing

• Removal of packers
• Reinstatement of injection holes
• Surface restoration

────────────────────────

5. Photo Documentation

Before Injection:
• Active water flow from pipe penetrations
• Continuous inflow at manhole walls
• High hydrostatic pressure leakage

After Injection:
• Complete stoppage of leakage
• Dry and stabilized internal surface
• Restored structural integrity

────────────────────────

6. Health & Safety

All works were executed under confined space safety protocols:

• Gas testing prior to entry
• Ventilation system
• PPE compliance
• Supervised chemical handling

No incidents were recorded.

7. Completion Status

Injection works were successfully completed for approved manholes.

Manholes without UCC clearance remain pending official approval.

The treated structures are now:

• Watertight
• Structurally stabilized
• Safe for operation
